The Grim Reaper Who Reaped My Heart!

 


Not much to write about this one.  Its a visual novel, but its written in RenPy so you can pretty much expect it to be rather short. Its not technically a kinetic novel, but there are only two choices and neither effects the story at all so it might as well be.


The story is rather simple.  A Grim Reaper girl appears at your house.  They typically only show up when someone is going to die, so the MC decides that since he's going to die anyway, might as well flirt with the grim reaper and try to get lucky.  Theres more to the grim reaper girl than she lets up, but its never really explained in the game, but theres a sequel in the works I guess.  


Technically there are two girls in the game, but only one gets sexy time.  Theres Vel, the titular grim reaper, and Neu, her subordinate/friend.  Vel really reminds me of the  Hazuki the girl from SUMMER - Life in the Countryside which I reviewed awhile back.  I wouldn't be surprised if the developer designed Vel based off Hazuki, as the similiarites are pretty close.  Vel is very subdued in personality, kind of just letting things happen as they do.   Neu is way more bubbly, and personally, I liked her character more, its too bad she doesn't get any sex scenes.  The art is very good.  Well, the developer is more an artist than a story teller, so it makes sense.  All the CGs are animated as well, even the non-sex scenes.  They are just short loops, but they are well done, and seamless.  


Overall, this was a good visual novel, but there is a few caveats.  The story does "end" but its obvious theres going to be more to it.  Unfortunately the developer is a Patreon developer.  This is usually a red flag, because Patreon developers have no reason to finish a game, because once the game is done, theres no point to the Patreon anymore.  And this really feels like that is the way this developer is going.  The dev has multiple projects going on with sporadic updates, instead of just focusing on one and completing it.  I do recommend the game, its very short, you can probably finish it in about 45 minutes, and the sex scene animations are very smooth and high quality.  Just don't expect a complete story.

  Similar to the previous eroge I reviewed, Sheryl is mostly light hearted, but has some pretty dark turns here and there.  Its an action-adventure game made in RPGMaker, so the combat is not exactly great, but simple enough to get by.  Its actually a pretty solid game. Sheryl is an alchemist in training, who is forced to pay the debts of her master, because her master is too lazy to do it herself.  As Sheryl explores the dungeon, a more sinister plot unfolds related to a dark cult trying to take over the world.  The plot doesn't exactly make sense. The cult has been around for centuries, and they want some symbols of power from the Fishmen, Halflings, and Elves, that you get with little to no problem, kind of makes you wonder what they were doing for all those years. Succubus Trap Island

  Succubus Trap Island is exactly what the title says. Its an Erotic Trap Dungeon style game, so the game focuses on traps and humiliation of the main heroine. I'm not entirely well-versed in the genre, but overall this one was pretty good. There's not a lot of plot to the game. Princess Marika and her guardian knight Leaf are on a survey cruise to a newly discovered island. The island is home to many succubi and demons. Demons are not necessarily evil in the game I guess, and succubi are more known for tricks and of course stealing life energy. Anyways, on the island, the succubi decide to capture Leaf, to basically publicly humiliate her sexually, and have Marika traverse the dungeons in order to save her. Except the succubi accidentally capture the princess instead, and the roles get flipped. The Alcummy of Amelie

  The Alcummy of Amelie is a fairly lighthearted/silly RPG Maker eroge.  Theres a few things that make it stand out, but the overall game is pretty standard issue RPGMaker faire. Amelie is an alchemist, she gets wrongfully accused of murder and gets thrown in prison.  While in prison she is saved by a succubus that is also in prison, and basically end up having to help the succubus with whatever her intentions are, which of course means getting lots and lots of semen for her magic/alchemy. Theres a handful of dungeons in the game, where you have to gather ingredients for alchemy.  Certain monsters drop an item that you can offer up to the succubus statue which will give you a skill that sends that enemy into heat, effectively letting you skip battles by getting raped by the monster instead.  Battles are typical RPGMaker stuff.  There is clothing damage you get down to 50% hp and another around 25%.  You can wear different costumes, and each costume has...
