SUMMER - Life in the Countryside + Outing

Summer Life in the Countryside is a pretty simple game.  There's really not much to say about it.  You play an unnamed character living out in the city.  One day your aunt calls and tells you she is going on vacation, and thus her daughter Hazuki (your cousin) is living all alone, and she wants you to look after her.  Basically from there it spirals into your sexcapades with your cousin.

The gameplay is lackluster.  You walk around, and have sex with your cousin.  Thats pretty much all there is to it.  At first you have to talk to your cousin before she will allow you to do certain acts, and the more sex you have the more sex acts are unlocked.  Theres also special scenes for certain locations and/or certain outfits.  The Outing DLC adds a few scenarios, such as going camping, going to the beach, and a matsuri festival, which of course all have their own respective scenes.  Your aunt will periodically send you money and you can purchase items from a mail order menu.  The items are supposed to be related to sex scenes, but not all of which are clear.  As you get closer to your cousin, you will eventually find outfits throughout the house, which you can dress Hazuki with.

The sex scenes themselves are pretty nice.  Most are sprite-based pixel art, but there are "story related" scenes that have CGs.  The sprite scenes can get repetitive, since each position has 5 variants, for each outfit.  You'll pretty much get the story related scenes as you progress into the game.  One thing to note is that Hazuki is a kuudere, so she is very soft spoken, and even during the sex scenes, her moaning is pretty quiet.

The art is where the game shines.  The pixel art is very good, and the animations are fluid.  The CGs are high quality as well.  Hazuki is a little meaty, and her weight definitely adds to the eroticsim.  If you like your girls on the slender side, this may not be the game for you.  Most of the CG accentuate her butt, and its ironic that there is not a lot of anal scenes.

I definitely recommend this game.  It is short, but also long.  Its short in that you can finish it in about 2 hours, but the game feels long.  You have an entire month in-game, but you can easily unlock just about everything in the first week or so of the game.  The story is pretty nonexistant, but you're not playing this for a story.  The art really shines, both the pixel sprite art, and the CGs.  If you pick up the DLC you get a few extra scenes.  Best of all, the game has an official English translation.
