Labyrinth of Hell
Labyrinth of Hell is a short and sweet, well, maybe not sweet since its a pseudo-survival-horror, RPGMaker eroge. As far as I can tell, its the first game Last Resort has made, and it definitely feels like it. Prior to making the game, Last Resort mainly did those CG set h-manga things. The main themes of the game is survival-horror and loli.
Other than the MC, there is only one character, the loli Kokone. The MC is a elementary school teacher, and Kokone is your student. For unknown reasons the two get abducted by some crazy mad scientist or something. Now your alone in a ginormous mansion, with apparently aphrodisiac gas spreading throughout the place, making you and Kokone horny as hell. Being the totally cool headed teacher you are, you obviously resist and try to escape the mansion before you can't anymore. Or you know, just give in to your desires and escape when you're not horny anymore.
The main gameplay is exploration, and puzzle solving. Well, puzzle solving is pretty bare bones, mostly block pushing, and reading notes. As you explore the mansion, you learn you aren't exactly alone, and theres a monster down on the lower floors. Despite being the developers first game, the horror atmosphere is quite decent. The lower levels are dark, so you can only see a few spaces around the MC, and occasionally you'll hear creepy sounds. Unfortunately, because this is the developer's first game, the environments are just too damn big, and very bare bones. A lot of the rooms have large amounts of empty space, and there no decorations to mask the emptiness. This is pretty common problem for the first game of different developers so I don't really fault the game too much for it.
There are plenty of h-scenes. Theres a few costumes you can find for Kokone, and each costume has its own h-scenes. The sex scenes are all loli, obviously. The art is not the greatest, but definitely not bad. I would put it somewhere slightly above average. Theres really no pacing for the sex scenes. I explored the mansion until I couldn't figure out what to do anymore, and when I went back to the room to sleep, every time I went to sleep I got a sex scene. Since I thought I was stuck, I thought I was gonna be able to progress after I got all the scenes, but the puzzle I was stuck on I just had to search a cabinet I had already searched before.
Overall, for the developer's first game, its pretty good. Even if it didn't have h-scenes, I think the game could stand on its own pretty well. Unfortunately the environments are too large, with kind of makes some of the exploration more tedious then it needs to be, but the horror atmosphere is surprisingly well done. Its a very short game, it took me just over 2.5 hours to finish it with 100% CGs. If you're okay with loli, I can definitely recommend Labyrinth of Hell. The downside is that its only in Japanese so you'll need a translation program if you can't read Japanese.
