Magic Pussy: Chapter 1

Magic Pussy: Chapter 1 is a pretty short adventure game.  I don't know if you could call it an adventure game, actually, but I don't know what else to call it.  

The gameplay tries to be an adventure game, there is "exploration" but its super limited.  Basically you just wander around until the game decides you can talk to someone.  Then, that person tells you to talk to someone else, and then that person will either 1. tell you to talk to someone else, 2. give you an item, or 3, tell you to get an item (usually from someone else).  There are a few puzzles, but they are pretty easy: a match 2 game, a pipe-dream style game, and ball catching game.  The ball catching game gets obnoxious, but its technically optional.  

The story is you're a new student at some magic academy.  You learn shortly later that someone has been stealing the panties of female students.  Also possibly kidnapping girls?  The dialogue kind of switches between calling the villain a panty thief and a kidnapper, so I'm not 100% what was happening.  When you catch the thief the MC says something about how it was putting the girls' lives in danger, which didn't really clear things up either.  I mean, kidnapping would certainly endanger their lives, but stealing panties?  Not sure about that.  Also the MC apparently wears panties as well, because when you confront the thief, the MC yells "Those are my panties!"  I think the girl with you was supposed to say that line, but the dialogue box totally had the MC's name in it.

There's not much to write about on the characters.  The dialogue doesn't exactly make sense to get a feel for them.  Most of the characters are just there to tell you to talk to the next person.  There is some attempt at characterization, but its pretty lackluster at best.  Like the bad-ass vampire lady, is all no-nonsense, and then inexplicably gets all lovey dovey with the MC at the end of the game.  Also the outcast girl who is supposedly a delinquent, and when you first meet her she is kind of sarcastic and then the MC out of nowhere just starts yelling at her for no reason.  The dialogue is just plain bad.  I think the game is OEL, but the dialogue has quite a bit of broken English that it feels like it was machine translated at some points.  

Sex scenes are short 3D CG animations.  Probably no more than 30 seconds long.  Its not really worth the payoff, honestly.  I have to say for 3D CG, the scenes are actually pretty good.  I'm not talking Illusion game good, but not your typically run of the mill Blender VN bad.  There is no dialogue in the sex scenes, but there is some generic moaning sounds clips.  The sex scenes are rather forgettable.

Overall, Magic Pussy: Chapter 1 is not a great game, but I have played worse.  As far as 3D CG games go, this is probably one of the better ones.  The game came out in April, and as it is called Chapter 1, I assume there will be a sequel, or at least one was planned.  I might play the sequel when/if it comes out, if I don't forget about it.  The lulzy dialogue is entertaining for the wrong reasons, but the sex scenes are kind of boring.  It took me nearly two and a half hours to finish, so its not that long of a game.  If you enjoy fetch quests with some sex scene rewards, this might be for you.  With a title like "Magic Pussy" you get more or less what you should expect.  Although honestly, the sex scenes don't really show too much pussy, ironically.

  Similar to the previous eroge I reviewed, Sheryl is mostly light hearted, but has some pretty dark turns here and there.  Its an action-adventure game made in RPGMaker, so the combat is not exactly great, but simple enough to get by.  Its actually a pretty solid game. Sheryl is an alchemist in training, who is forced to pay the debts of her master, because her master is too lazy to do it herself.  As Sheryl explores the dungeon, a more sinister plot unfolds related to a dark cult trying to take over the world.  The plot doesn't exactly make sense. The cult has been around for centuries, and they want some symbols of power from the Fishmen, Halflings, and Elves, that you get with little to no problem, kind of makes you wonder what they were doing for all those years. Succubus Trap Island

  Succubus Trap Island is exactly what the title says. Its an Erotic Trap Dungeon style game, so the game focuses on traps and humiliation of the main heroine. I'm not entirely well-versed in the genre, but overall this one was pretty good. There's not a lot of plot to the game. Princess Marika and her guardian knight Leaf are on a survey cruise to a newly discovered island. The island is home to many succubi and demons. Demons are not necessarily evil in the game I guess, and succubi are more known for tricks and of course stealing life energy. Anyways, on the island, the succubi decide to capture Leaf, to basically publicly humiliate her sexually, and have Marika traverse the dungeons in order to save her. Except the succubi accidentally capture the princess instead, and the roles get flipped. The Alcummy of Amelie

  The Alcummy of Amelie is a fairly lighthearted/silly RPG Maker eroge.  Theres a few things that make it stand out, but the overall game is pretty standard issue RPGMaker faire. Amelie is an alchemist, she gets wrongfully accused of murder and gets thrown in prison.  While in prison she is saved by a succubus that is also in prison, and basically end up having to help the succubus with whatever her intentions are, which of course means getting lots and lots of semen for her magic/alchemy. Theres a handful of dungeons in the game, where you have to gather ingredients for alchemy.  Certain monsters drop an item that you can offer up to the succubus statue which will give you a skill that sends that enemy into heat, effectively letting you skip battles by getting raped by the monster instead.  Battles are typical RPGMaker stuff.  There is clothing damage you get down to 50% hp and another around 25%.  You can wear different costumes, and each costume has...
