Adventurer Liz and the Erotic Dungeon
Adventurer Liz and the Erotic Dungeon is another RPGMaker game. Its pretty straight forward, and not a lot to write about. Liz accidentally set her new home on fire because she's bad a cooking, and then she goes on a mission to get rich so she can build a new house. Its a silly concept, but its a silly game.
The most irritating part of the game is the combat system, sadly. It starts out easy enough but each dungeon gets harder and harder. There is a LOT of grinding. You can get weapon/armor upgrades, but you have to use monster drops to make them. Once you get the upgrades that dungeon becomes a breeze to go through. Unfortunately if you don't have the upgrades that dungeon is a chore, but you have to go through the dungeon to get the monster drops so you can get the upgrades. Don't even try fighting the bosses unless you have the max upgrades for that dungeon. There are skills, and the skill progression is kind of neat in that you get upgraded versions of the skills the more you use the skills. Its too bad all you really need is the fire skill, all the other elements are kind of not worth bothering with.
The sex scenes are kind of unneeded. Its all game over rape style, so you lose to the enemy, and you get raped. Standard H-RPGMaker stuff. Each time you fight the monster for the first time, you unlock the h-scenes regardless if you win/lose. Knowing this, I didn't bother losing to the monsters, and by the end of the game I only saw 2-3 sex scenes. The art during the h-scenes is mediocre amateur artstyle, I've seen worse, but I've also seen better. Instead of clicking through the dialogue box during sex scenes, the text is actually on the sex scene CG, which is odd.
The best part of the game is Liz, because she is just such an idiot, but in a good way. She's very simple minded, has a short attention span, and gets excited very easily. At one point someone is telling her his whole life story, and you can walk around and if you talk to the guy his dialogue is just "blah blah blah" because she's not paying attention to him. In town, just about everything is clickable, and she'll have some stupid comment to say about it.
Final verdict is that the game is decent, however, not without its drawbacks. Be prepared to grind. A lot. I had about 7 hours into the game, but you can probably get it done is about 5. The battles can get tedious, but Liz's personality more than makes up for it. I think I can recommend this one, but just be aware of the grindfest that it is.
